A day of stations, cheers, and chaos.

Students kicked off the Station Games with a rousing house-wide cheer, the colors moving in sequence from blue to yellow. Each of the four houses fielded four groups, every group performing their own cheer and proudly hoisting their house flag. Notably absent from the schedule: any icebreaking. The teams somehow jumped straight into the competition.

A total of eight stations tested the groups across coordination, memory, aim, and pure nerve. Marks were tallied on a scoring sheet at each station, with bonus points awarded for the strength of each team's cheer on arrival. The louder and tighter the cheer, the better the score.

The eight challenges

1. Human Cup Stack — Paper cups were balanced on volunteers' bodies. The more cups, the better, and the same member could be re-used as long as the team stayed in a line.
2. Blindfolded Cup Flip — Players had to flip cups the correct way while blindfolded, guided only by their teammates' commands, and follow a set path.
3. Five-Hand Marker — Teams of five drew shapes together using a single marker, requiring careful coordination from every hand.
4. Under-the-Legs Basketball — Two parallel team lines threw basketballs under the opposing team's legs. No blocking allowed.
5. Tiered Basket Toss — Players threw balls into baskets worth 3, 5, and 10 points, with the smaller (and harder) baskets carrying the highest value.
6. Cup Spot Relay — Teams placed and unplaced six cups on white dotted spots, scoring marks for every completed cycle.
7. Memory Blocks — Players had 30 seconds to memorize a block-and-color pattern before rebuilding it. Peeking again was allowed, but cost points.
8. Teacher Says — A guessing-game station where, as one player put it, "Teacher say got but dont know."

The podium

After the final whistle, students filed back into the hall and waited… and waited. When the results finally came, the standings were:

Lunch, a mall trip, and a small mix-up

Students paired up to eat with a partner, a friend, or optionally with the teachers before the group headed out to IOI Mall for a meal. The outing had one small hiccup: a friend of a friend thought it was already 3 PM when it wasn't, briefly throwing off the group's timing.

After the mall, everyone returned to Axcel International School for the closing ceremony.

Prizes for everyone (but more for the winners)

The ceremony venue was stocked with snacks for over 100 attendees, including Coco Crunch and potato chips. Prize tiers scaled with placement the higher the finish, the better the haul. The first-place group took home an extra white box containing a fan, on top of the standard prizes.
