An unfortunate news has passed our way as ####### unfortunately died, the reason for the death was ###################################, , for the friends that friended him, please take some time to remember him. This was the message the school sent out:
*A Message to Parents and Guardians*
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are deeply saddened to share that one of our students passed away on Thursday, 26 March. This is a deeply sad time for our school community, and our thoughts are with the student's family and loved ones.
Out of respect for the family's privacy, we will not be sharing further details. We ask that you avoid speculation and refrain from sharing details on social media, as this may cause further distress to those affected.
Although school has been on holiday since 14 March, we are aware that many students may have already heard this news through friends or social media over the past few days. We are putting support in place ahead of students' return on Monday, 30 March. Our Student Support Team will be available and counselling will be accessible. We have also brought in additional counselling support, including experienced professionals in adolescent mental health, who will be available from Monday alongside our school counsellor. Safe spaces will be set up for any student who needs time.
We encourage you to have a gentle conversation with your child before Monday if you have not already. Your child may have been carrying this quietly over the holidays. Some suggestions:
* Be open and calm let your child lead the conversation
* Listen more than you speak sometimes they just need to be heard
* Reassure them that feeling sad, confused, or even numb is completely normal
* Let them know that support will be available at school
In the coming days and weeks, please watch for changes in mood, sleep, appetite, withdrawal from friends, or expressions of hopelessness. These may not appear immediately. If you notice anything that concerns you, please contact the school.
*Support is also available outside school hours:*
* Befrienders KL (24 hours): 03-7627 2929
* Talian HEAL (Ministry of Health): 15555
* Emergency: 999
Thank you for your understanding, care, and partnership as we support our children and one another.
Warm regards,
School Management
